Ivy is the new BDB CEO.  She is quickly learning the ropes and has already proven to be a worthy taste tester - very keen!!

1. Ivy was adopted at 11.5 weeks.

2. Ivy was originally named Lexi.

3. Ivy is a pure bred Australian Kelpie.

4. Ivy hates garbage trucks.

5. Ivy loves car rides!

HELEN

 OWNER / CREATOR

2020 - present

Baking healthy dog treats for the family fur-kids has always been a passion of Helen's but during the COVID-19 pandemic,  she finally found herself with the time to take her passion and turn it into a small business.  Helen has and continues to research and trial her recipes to ensure she produces and creates only the tastiest and healthiest of dog treats  for the 

fur community. 

Helen has completed a  Canine Holistic Health & Therapy Diploma with a Distinction, and a Canine Nutrition Diploma with a Distrinction.

Rob is the BDB Market Man as well as a force behind the BDB scenes.  

TAZZI

RETIRED BDB CEO

2020 - 2022

RIP 2006 - 1/4/2022

Tazzi, aka 'Brown Dog' was BDB's  original CEO and BDB's namesake.  She retired January 2022 and passed away 1 April 2022.  

* Fun Facts *

1. BD was rescued at 9mths of age.

2. BD was 15 years and 6 months old when she passed.

3. BD was a Kelpie X 

4. BD suffered with anxiety, CCD and age related hearing loss.

5. BD loved to eat ants and snap at bees!

SABER

BDB 2IC TASTE TESTER

2020 - 2022

RIP 2012 - 24/2/2022

 Saber was a 2IC taste tester at Brown Dog Bakery.  For a little man he had a LOT of attitude but would do anything for a Brown Dog Bakery treato.

* Fun Facts *

1. Saber was not the pup that our daughter went in to rescue, however circumstances saw to it that he came home with her (was meant to be).

2. Saber loved carob and yoghurt treats the most.

3. Saber was 10 years old when he passed unexpectedly from an illness.

4. Saber loved nothing more than being a lap dog.

5. Saber was named after the Saber Toothed Tiger from the movie Ice Age.

GYPSY

THE BDB TABBY CAT

2020 - present

dob: 12/9/14

Gypsy is a constant companion to all who work at BDB.  When she's not bunting anyone and everything in her sight she can be found atop the commercial dehydrator keeping toasty warm and keeping an eye on proceedings from above!!

* Fun Facts *

1. Gypsy was the daughter of Ellie

2. Gypsy had one sibling, a brother named Milo who was adopted.

3. Gypsy's mum died at age 2 from snake bite (the second time she had been bitten).

4. Gypsy is an indoor only cat due to fact #3

5. Gypsy loves Ivy and will bunt Ivy while Ivy is laying on the floor.
